Country Visit Report: Greece

In June 2022, I carried out an official country visit to Greece at the invitation of the Government. The purpose of the trip was to assess the situation for human rights defenders in the country and make recommendations as to the effective implementation of the UN Declaration on HRDs. What follows is my official visit report, presented today, 15 March 2023, at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.  While the full version of the report is currently only available in English, a translation of the report’s introduction, conclusions and recommendations can also be found below.
