Last week, I joined the Women’s Regional Network (WRN) to discuss the situation of Human Rights Defenders in South Asia. We discussed the death of Fr. Stan Swamy, safe spaces for Women Human Rights Defenders online, the crisis for WHRDs in Afghanistan and the effects of COVID-19 on the work of HRDs, among other issues.
