On 11 March 2022, I presented a report to the UN Human Rights Council, explaining how, although not everyone sees corruption as a human rights issue, corruption often prevents the realisation of human rights, and those working peacefully against corruption are human rights defenders. Anti-corruption HRDs often come under great risk for their work and deserve our support and protection.
