On Monday 5 September 2022, I wrote a piece for the Daily Mirror Sri Lanka on the current crisis faced by Sri Lanka and the allegations I’ve heard of attacks against human rights defenders. Human rights defenders have extensive, specialised expertise that the Government should be making use of, not suppressing.
