Not guilty verdict of Polish Women Human Rights Defenders upheld

On Wednesday, 12 January 2021, a Polish court upheld the dismissal of the case against Women Human Rights Defenders Ela, Anna and Joanna, who were charged with “offending religious beliefs” for their work in defence of the rights of the LGBTIQ+ community in Poland.

I am delighted by the news. They should never have been charged in the first place & any further attempts to criminalise their peaceful activism should be struck down.
