From 30 October to 7 November 2023, I carried out an official country visit to Georgia at the invitation of the Government. The purpose of the trip was to assess the situation for human rights defenders in the country and make recommendations as to the effective implementation of the UN Declaration on HRDs. What follows is my official visit report, presented today, 12 March 2024, at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
